Angel's Grace
Character design
Hey everyone! My name is Adam and I am the person behind Jinx Drawings. I am an Australian art student that loves to draw fictional (and sometimes non-fictional) characters in order to bring them to life in a new light, both digitally and traditionally. Welcome to my website!
Here’s a little about me to introduce myself, I’m an Australian university student majoring in Japanese Studies and minoring in Computer Programming and Digital Media, but as of late have put college life on hold to work full time as a web developer and draw in my spare time.
I’ve always had an interest in the arts and only started drawing with a
passion through the introduction of anime, and about a hundred anime eye
tutorials later, I finally managed to pick up the concept of drawing an eye
that didn’t quite look like someone had accidentally stepped on it, only then
did I realise the time and effort it would take to improve, and I accepted
that challenge. With only a years experience and the multiple attempts at
trying to draw digitally with a mouse, I found that I was somewhat improving
from my blank faces to something that managed to muster the tiniest bit of
expression, and attempting to take my characters hands out of their pockets or
from behind their backs.
And with another year under my belt I was
starting my first commisions, only simple stuff at first and admmitedly a lot
of minecraft art (what can I say, there was a market for it), but as the year
progressed and I acquired my first drawing tablet, fan-art was my new best
friend.
And now with all my previous experience I’ve moved back to
traditional drawing, designing tattoos for friends and hitting the sketchbook
whenever I get the chance, drawing stills from life, or just random doodles,
whatever my mind could muster in what often ended up being the wee hours of
the morning.
I hope you enjoy the site, and if you’re generous enough, feel free to follow my Instagram or watch me on Deviantart.
